Frequently Asked Questions
Everything agents, hosts and developers ask before they book.
Direct answers to the questions we get on every quote call. Scroll for pricing, turnaround, video, Airbnb, commercial and coverage area answers.
How much does property photography cost in Cape Town?
Professional property photography in Cape Town starts from R1,450 for a standard residential shoot of up to 25 retouched stills. Premium packages with extended photo coverage, twilight option and walkthrough video start from R2,950. Signature packages with full cinematic video and virtual tours are quoted per property. Final pricing depends on property size, services needed and travel distance from Langebaan or Cape Town CBD.
How long does a property photography shoot take?
A standard residential property shoot takes 60 to 120 minutes on site, depending on the size of the home and the number of rooms covered. Larger luxury homes, hotel groups and developments take 2 to 4 hours. We work efficiently so you do not lose half a day, and we stay on site for as long as needed to get every space right.
How quickly do I get the photos after the shoot?
Photos are delivered within 24 hours of the shoot, and video within 72 hours. Both are sent as download links straight to your inbox, ready to upload to Property24, Private Property, Airbnb, your agency website or your social media campaigns. Rush delivery is available on the Premium and Signature packages.
Do you include exterior and location context photos in Cape Town?
Yes. Langebaan Property Videos is a Professional camera work operator with full public liability cover. Extended exterior and video coverage are included in the Premium and Signature packages, and available as add-ons to the Essential package. We fly anywhere professional flight is legal across Cape Town, Langebaan and the West Coast.
Do you photograph Airbnb properties?
Yes. Airbnb photography is one of our largest service categories across the Western Cape. Listings with professional photos see significantly more bookings and rank higher in Airbnb search. The lift in nightly rate and occupancy typically pays back the shoot cost within the first month for active hosts.
What is twilight property photography?
Twilight photography is shot in the 20 to 40 minute window after sunset when the sky still has light and interior lights start to glow. It produces the warmest, highest-engagement listing image type, especially powerful for homes with pools, exterior lighting, ocean views and luxury features. Available on Premium and Signature packages.
Do you cover Langebaan and the West Coast?
Yes. Langebaan Property Videos is based in Langebaan, with Saldanha, Vredenburg, Velddrif, Paternoster, Yzerfontein, Club Mykonos, Shelley Point and the surrounding West Coast covered as standard service area. No travel surcharge applies inside this radius for any package.
Do you photograph commercial property?
Yes. We photograph offices, retail spaces, restaurants, hospitality venues, business premises and commercial developments. The brief, lighting approach and final image format are different from residential, so the shoot is planned around the final marketing use, whether that is a leasing platform, brochure or corporate website.
What if I am not happy with the photos?
We will reshoot for free. If the final images do not meet what you expected after the first edit, send a list of what needs to be redone and we arrange a return visit at no charge. This applies to every package. It has rarely been needed, but the guarantee stands so you can book with zero risk.
Do you offer virtual tours and floor plans?
Yes. Virtual tours and 2D floor plans are available as add-ons to any package, and are included in the Signature package by default. They are useful for high-value listings, off-plan developments and Airbnb listings where guests want to understand the layout before booking.
Can you photograph a property before construction is finished?
Yes. We work with developers and builders to photograph at multiple stages: site progression, handover, after first finishes are installed, and again at full staging. The same property can be re-shot at each stage for launch marketing, investor reports and progress updates without re-quoting each time.
How far in advance should I book a shoot?
Most agents and hosts book five to seven days ahead. Same-week shoots are usually possible for standard residential properties. For larger commercial, hospitality and development shoots, book two weeks ahead to confirm the right gear, the right shoot window and the right delivery slot.
